What Julia Roberts said to Travis Kelce at the Taylor Swift Show: Lip reader

A lip reader weighs in on the viral conversation between Travis Kelce and Julia Roberts at a recent Taylor Swift Eras Tour stop in Dublin.

The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end was with 56-year-old Roberts at his girlfriend’s show, where Kelce and the Oscar winner were seen laughing and talking while she held Kelce by the shoulder.

In response to the video that went viral on social media, Jackie Gonzalez – a deaf artist, social media star and former contestant on Squid Game: The Challenge – shared a clip of her lip-reading Kelce and Roberts.

According to Gonzalez, Roberts told Kelce, “I’m so unusually happy for you guys, and I don’t want to make you nervous, but it makes me so happy.”

Kelce’s meeting with Roberts took place on Sunday, June 30, at Swift’s third and final concert at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

He was seen singing along with the crowd after the show and leaving the stadium with 34-year-old Swift – she stood next to him in full costume and both waved to fans.

Aside from Kelce’s guest appearance in the audience, Swift had a minor accident on stage while singing “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” during The “Tortured Poets” section Part of their setlist.

Sunday marked Kelce’s first appearance at a Swift show since he made his Eras Tour stage debut with the “So High School” singer at her London show on June 23.

Roberts’ family has long been a fan of Swift, as she noted in a November 2018 interview. Harper’s Bazaar Cover story.

The actress explained that she learned how to deal with questions about her own fame from her three children, saying, “I don’t think they’ll ever get a true idea (of my fame).”

“I think I told you once, when they first started trying to find out, they were like, ‘You’re famous?’ And I said, ‘I think a lot of people might have seen the movie I’m in or might know who I am,'” she added.

But the kids needed more details – and what better way to get that than by asking them about their favorite pop star?

Roberts recalled to the magazine: “Maybe an hour goes by. (Then they ask:) ‘Are you more famous than Taylor Swift?'”
