The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor couldn’t resist joking about his wife’s passion for “sunscreen.”

Chris Pratt couldn’t take his eyes off Katherine Schwarzenegger-Pratt‘s fashion during their last date. While enjoying lunch in Southern California, Protector of the Galaxy The star playfully poked fun at his wife’s outfit as they spent a summer afternoon.

“A nice lunch with my wife who is very particular about sun protection,” Chris, 45, wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, July 2. “I love ninjas so it’s a win-win.”

After finishing her meal, Katherine, 34, wore a white baseball cap, sunglasses and a Coolibar UPF 50+ hoodie that covered almost her entire face. The bestselling author took her husband’s post in stride as she shared a link to the hoodie on her Instagram stories and wrote, “I 🤝🏻Ninjas.”

In a follow-up post, Katherine reminded her followers to use sunscreen as temperatures rise across the country. “Just popping in to remind you to apply your SPF,” she wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, June 3, as she recommended iS CLINICAL’s skincare routine. “And don’t forget your hands, neck and ears!”

Sun protection remains a priority for Katherine as she reportedly prepares to become a mother for the third time. On June 28, PEOPLE broke the news that the animal rights activist is pregnant and expecting her third child with Chris. (The couple has not publicly announced that they are expecting another child.)

Katherine, mother of daughters Lyla Maria (3) and Eloise Christina (2), says she is raising her daughters to be comfortable and confident in their own skin, without all the glitz and glamour that sometimes prevails in Hollywood.

“I really pay attention now that I have daughters, how we talk to ourselves, what we wear, how we have fun, how we play with makeup, play with our hair, all the different things that I want to convey to them about life and about life as young girls and growing up,” she said.
