RAHWAY, NJ — Students from Franklin Elementary School’s Blue and Gold Club brought smiles to the faces of Atria Cranford residents during a recent visit with a fun-filled night of games and crafts.

The energetic group set up several stations with different games, creating a lively atmosphere full of laughter and friendly competition. A particular highlight was a homemade Jeopardy game, developed by a creative club member, which was a huge hit with the residents.

Beyond the games, the evening also fostered heartwarming connections. Residents had fun making beautiful suncatchers for their windows out of colorful gemstones. This is not the first visit by the Blue and Gold Club and they have made special friendships with some of the residents of Atria Cranford.

Franklin Elementary School’s Blue and Gold Club is a student-led organization that volunteers for various community service projects throughout the year. Led by school nurses Barbara Maher and Kym Adams, the club teaches the value of giving back and creating positive connections within the community.

“We are incredibly proud of the Blue and Gold Club and the dedication they show in serving others,” said Principal Patrick Holness. “Their positive energy and enthusiasm brighten the day of Atria residents and the friendships they have made are truly heartwarming.”
