‘Before we get too old!’ Goldie Hawn wants to appear in a film with her famous family – Film News | Film-News.co.uk

Goldie Hawn wants to appear in a movie with her famous family before they all “get too old.”

The 78-year-old actress is keen to share the screen with her partner, actor Kurt Russell (73), and her children, fellow actors Kate (45) and Oliver Hudson (47), whom she has with her ex-husband Bill Hudson (74), as well as her and Kurt’s son Wyatt Russell (37).

In the podcast “Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa” she said: “Actually, I would love to make a movie together before we all get too old.

“Wouldn’t it? It would be so funny and so crazy and oh my God.”

Hawn also hinted that her family will star in an animated film.

She added: “Maybe we’ll do something with Oliver that’s an animated film. In other words, we’d all be the voices.”

“That would be a lot of fun.”

If Hawn’s idea becomes reality, it would not be the first time that she appears in films together with parts of her family.

In 2018, she starred alongside Kurt and Oliver in the Netflix film “The Christmas Chronicles,” in which Kurt played Santa Claus, she played the role of Mrs. Claus, and Oliver played firefighter Doug Pierce.

Goldie and Kurt reprised their roles for the 2020 sequel, The Christmas Chronicles 2.

Hawn’s latest comments come after she insisted in 2017 that she would not do a film with Kate because it would bring with it “too much baggage.”

She told the Los Angeles Times: “We would love it, but it’s really interesting – if it’s not something great, honey, you don’t do it. And I’ll tell you something else: mother and daughter or son or whatever – sometimes it doesn’t work. You have to face reality, because we’re very well known for living apart from each other. There are a lot of expectations that come into play. You want to talk about baggage!”
