How do you get to heaven from Belfast? is an upcoming Netflix original comedy-thriller series created, produced and written by Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee and directed by Michael Lennox (Derry Girl) and produced by Hat Trick Productions.

Executive producers of the series are Caroline Leddy (Plebs)Michael Lennox, Liz Lewin (Riviera)Lisa McGee (The Deceived)and Jimmy Mulville (Flack).

What is the plot of How do you get to heaven from Belfast??

Netflix has provided a synopsis for the series:

“Smart, chaotic TV writer Saoirse, glamorous, stressed-out mother of three Robyn and reliable, inhibited carer Dara have been a tight-knit group since school. Now in their late 30s but still as close as ever, these three friends are about to embark on the most exciting adventure of their lives. When they receive an email telling them of the death of the estranged fourth member of their childhood gang, Greta, a series of eerie events at her wake sends them on a dark, dangerous and hilarious odyssey through Ireland and beyond as each tries to piece together the truth of the past. A show about friendship, memories and what happens when life doesn’t quite turn out as you expected.”

Who is in the cast of How do you get to heaven from Belfast??

So far we have only confirmed the three main actors for “How To Get To Heaven From Belfast”: Roísín Gallagher, Sinéad Keenan and Caoilfhionn Dunne.

Roísín Gallagher plays Saoirse. The actress previously starred in the licensed Netflix original series The autumnwhere she played DC Taylor. Most recently she played in the series The drought as Shiv Sheridan.

Sinéad Keenan plays the role of Robyn. The actress has appeared in several British series, including Derry Girls as Aideen O’Shea, Unforgotten as DCI Jess James, Deep Water as Roz and Nina in Being Human.

Caoilfhionn Dunne plays Dara. The actress has not yet starred in a Netflix original, but she has appeared in shows such as Britannia, Chernobylghosts, Love-hate relationshipAnd Industry.

How many episodes are there?

It has been confirmed that there will be a total of eight episodes with an approximate running time of sixty minutes per episode.
