The 4th of July fun continues throughout Central Michigan this weekend – The Morning Sun

Because July 4th falls on a Thursday, Independence Day celebrations this year span several days in cities across Central Michigan.

Spectators can enjoy a free fireworks display with loud awe and wonder at dusk on Friday, July 5 at the Soaring Eagle Casino. The casino is located at 6800 Soaring Eagle Blvd., Mt. Pleasant.

The Clare County Fairgrounds, 418 Fairlane St., Harrison, will host a parade at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 5, followed by a Mud Bog with fireworks starting at 5 p.m.

And Bay City’s famous fireworks display runs for three nights, starting on Thursday, July 4th and continuing through Friday, July 5th, with the grand finale taking place on Sunday, July 6th, along the Saginaw River.
