Jason Kelce’s three words in response to Travis’ performance at Wembley Stadium with Taylor Swift as Chiefs star reveal that he feared a major disaster

Taylor Swift had a very special guest at her recent Eras tour show in London.

Tay Tay was joined on stage by his friend and NFL star Travis Kelce, who dazzled in a tailcoat and top during a performance of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” in front of a packed Wembley Stadium.

Both Kelces were in London to attend the sold-out shows, with the ever-popular Jason famously greeting a young fan in his old Philadelphia Eagles jersey.

The Kelce brothers discussed Travis’ masterfully choreographed performance at Wembley on the latest episode of their award-winning podcast, New Heights, and Jason had high praise for his younger brother.

“You did it,” Jason said. “You had a lot of help.”

“Are you kidding? I was up there with three pros. When Taylor is on stage, you can’t go wrong,” Travis replied.

Not only was Kelce on stage with Swift for the very first time, he also filled in for the dancer who usually carries the Grammy winner onto the stage during this segment.

However, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end admitted that he was afraid to carry his girlfriend and told himself one before the performance.

“One thing I always told myself was, ‘Don’t drop the baby,'” he joked.

“Don’t drop Taylor when you walk across that damn couch.”

“Don’t drop the football, no fumble,” Jason added.

Luckily, Travis avoided dropping Swift, and he was all smiles as he carried her and gently set her down on a red sofa in the middle of the stage.

Travis also told Jason that it was his idea to go on stage.

“I mentioned it to Tay first,” he said.

“She found the perfect part of the show for me to perform. It was the safest option, so to speak.”

“It was great. It was an honor to be on stage with Taylor.”

“It was so much fun to see,” Jason added.

Kelce seemed to be having the time of his life, as videos circulated online of the three-time Super Bowl winner kicking his heels while dancing.

He may have stolen the show, but he still admired Tay Tay’s ability to perform in front of such a large audience.

“We saw Tay absolutely rock it. He played in front of 90,000 people at Wembley,” he said.

“I remember in 2015 when I played in front of 80,000 people at Wembley and then saw Tay up there – they were much louder for her.

“She makes every single show unique with her acoustic set. It puts everyone in the same room with Taylor.”

Tight end Kelce’s budding romance with Swift was the talk of the NFL world and beyond last season, as the “Bad Blood” singer attended 13 Chiefs games during the 2023 season.

Kelce and Swift have been virtually inseparable since then, but this time it was Travis’ turn to be by Taylor’s side.

In recent weeks, the 34-year-old football star has spoken more openly than ever about what it’s like to date one of the most famous people in the world.

“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything. That’s my girl, you know what I mean? That’s my wife, so it’s like… I’m proud of it,” Kelce said on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast.

“I’m not sitting here trying to juggle, like, ‘How can I keep this a secret?’ You just don’t want to let everyone know about your private life and be able to comment on it when you know that everything you do makes headlines.”

“She’s very confident. And I think that’s why I really fell in love with her, because she’s so genuine with friends (and) family. It can get crazy for someone with so much attention… and she just stays so relaxed and cool.”

“I can certainly admire it,” he added.

Kelce has undoubtedly had an entertaining offseason, but the new NFL season is quickly approaching and his Chiefs are aiming for an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl.

The Chiefs open the season on September 5th at Arrowhead Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens, and Kelce will be back with his team in late July for the start of training camp.
