Cody Rhodes gives himself over to Homelander in new commercial for Amazon series “The Boys”

Cody Rhodes has shown his dark side in a new commercial for the hit Amazon superhero series The young.

Since the debut season in 2019, wrestling fans have frequently drawn similarities between The American Nightmare and the series’ main character Homelander due to the blonde hair and patriotic attire. Rhodes is very aware of the comparisons and has mentioned the similarity on WWE television, hinting that he might go “full on Homelander” in his match against AJ Styles at Clash at the Castle.

With season 4 of The young is released weekly on Amazon Prime. In a new ad promoting the show, several clips of Homelander are played before the camera pans up to show the Undisputed Champion dressed as the mad superhero. Rhodes asks Homelander what he wants to talk about before his eyes glow red and the camera turns off. He shares the video on his social mediaRhodes sent a message to the leader of the Seven:

Homelander, you have just experienced your American nightmare!

For those who don’t know: TV series The young In “The Super Heroes,” a group of superheroes try to protect the world, but their own personal interests take much higher priority. Homelander, the figurehead of the superhero organization Vought, often loses control and executes victims in drastic ways without warning, despite his delusional belief that he is in the right.

For all the fans hoping that Rhodes’ heel turn will happen soon: Let’s hope that “The American Nightmare” isn’t as twisted and brutal as “Homelander”!

Cody Rhodes refutes WrestleMania rumors

Much like Homelander, Rhodes didn’t let anything stop him from achieving his goal. He overcame all odds, including a surprise return from The Rock, a turnaround and a Bloodline Rules match, and ultimately ended the storyline by defeating Roman Reigns to become the new Undisputed Champion. While the full extent of the behind-the-scenes details have yet to be fully revealed, Cody Rhodes recently stated that one rumor was “crazy.”
