Taylor Swift hires Greggs as caterer for the first show of her UK tour

Taylor Swift hired Greggs to cater her first UK performance as part of her “Eras” tour.
The 34-year-old pop superstar performed at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland on Friday (07.06.24) and ordered hundreds of sausage rolls, steak casseroles and sweets for herself and the crew from the country’s most popular bakery chain.
A stadium insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw the Greggs van arrive to feed Taylor and her crew. You’d expect a billionaire to order champagne and caviar but the fact she’s got sausage rolls and steak casseroles is unbelievable. She’s gone up significantly in my esteem.”
“Who doesn’t love Greggs sausage rolls?”
The van was painted in the company’s signature navy blue and featured an orange square logo, but the back featured satirical bakery versions of their song lyrics such as “This is our place, we make the buns” and “Flake It Off.”
Before the van arrived at the stadium to pick up the team, it made its rounds around the Scottish city and gave fans the opportunity to buy a pastry in this unique van.
One visitor leaving Edinburgh Castle said: “I had to look twice.
“You don’t expect something like this in the middle of the street.”
Another said: “This made my day. My two favourite things this weekend, Greggs and Taylor Swift – see you in Edinburgh on Saturday Swifties, sausage roll in hand.”
Greggs – based in Newcastle upon Tyne – has long catered for A-list celebrities as they travel on tour, and has fed stars such as Ed Sheeran and Stormzy.
