Week after week, new hopefuls appear on the America’s Got Talent stage and wowed the judges while winning over the audience, and during the fifth week of auditions for Season 19 on Tuesday, the performances were as captivating as ever.

This week’s artists included a young expressive gymnast, an inspiring singer-songwriter, a pair of aerial acrobats and many more.

host Terry Crews led the overwhelming list of auditions overseen by long-serving judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara And Simon Cowell. After a night of impressive performances, the episode climaxed when 9-year-old singer Pranysqa Mishra took the stage and revealed that her favorite singers are Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Tina Turner.

So when she began belting out Turner’s iconic “River Deep – Mountain High,” the song choice was no surprise – but her voice was. The talented young singer brought a quality beyond her years to the epic song and stunned everyone in the room.

Cowell was speechless and before the jury could give feedback, Klum made an important decision.

“We expect a lot of things, but I didn’t expect this,” Klum said. “And you know what I’m going to do now? Because I honestly don’t want to hear what Howie, Simon or Sofia have to say. I want you to call your grandmother and tell her that Heidi Klum pressed the Golden Buzzer for you.”

Klum then pressed the Golden Buzzer, which brought Mishra to tears and automatically sent her into the live rounds of season 19.

Here’s a look at some of the other biggest and most epic performances of the night:

ET spoke to the jurors on the AGT red carpet before the casting rounds of the 19th season, and they told why and gave each of them a second Golden Buzzer is a real game changer.

“Talent is subjective. If you put a singer next to a dancer, next to a dangerous act, next to a magician, they all need their own buzzer!” shared Crews. “I think it’s just perfect! And I’ve said this before: AGT is constantly evolving… (and) it gets better every time a new development comes out.”

Cowell – the creator AGT and also serves as an executive producer on the series – came up with the idea for the second Golden Buzzer, telling ET that he came up with the idea while thinking about “how much time and effort these people put into this number and where that can lead.”

“People fly in from all over the world, as do American artists, and you see the (amazing) things,” Cowell said of the show’s magic. “The 70 times I just said, ‘How did you come up with that idea?!’ That’s what I love about the show, you know? It always surprises you.”

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
