ITV responds to reports of Love Island location change

ITV has responded to reports of a location change for the next seasons of Love Island.

Following reports that the dating show was looking for properties in Portugal and planned to move from its current location in Mallorca in 2025, the network denied speculation about a new villa for the time being in a statement seen by Reuters. Digital Spy.

“We’re looking forward to returning to Mallorca and our iconic villa this summer for the upcoming season of Love Island,” an ITV spokesperson said.

It seems that there are no plans to move to a new location this year. However, it is not yet known what will happen in 2025, the tenth anniversary of Love Island.

While the singles are expected to return to their current villa, Sa Vinyassa, on the outskirts of Cala d’Or in Mallorca, another series of Love Island has seen upheaval with its long-standing presenter replaced.

Last month it was announced that Sarah Hyland would be stepping down from her role as host of Love Island USA.

“I have committed to an exciting project that will be announced soon and which clashes directly with the filming dates of Love Island USA. Although I am sad that I cannot return, I hope to see lots of love this summer in the upcoming season on Peacock!”

Ariana Madix, known for her role on “Vanderpump Rules,” has been confirmed as Hyland’s successor at the helm of the sixth season of the dating show, which is scheduled to air later this year after filming in Fiji wraps.
