Travis Kelce is fed up with reality TV and recently announced that he has turned down Netflix.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was recently interviewed where he talked about his upcoming television projects and was asked if he had been approached to star in the reality series Recipient.

“After Pat did it, I was asked about it. I don’t know. I’d rather just play ball, man. I’ve got enough to do with the podcast and everything,” Kelce said on the Kissing with the boys Podcast shared on YouTube on June 24. “I’m sick of this reality shit. I’m out of this shit.”

Recipient is the Netflix documentary series and sequel to 2023 quarterbackstarring Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins ​​​​and Marcus Mariota.

Kelce praised his brother Jason Kelce and his Prime Video documentary series Kelce because it followed him “towards the end of his career” and “the ups and downs of the struggles he had.”

“I think he did it the right way,” Kelce added. “But that was his thing and I just don’t know if I have the desire to do something like that. I’d rather focus on the ball, baby.”

Kelce opened up about his love life on television in the short-lived reality dating competition Catch Kelcewhich aired on E! in 2016.

The NFL star will be the host Are you smarter than a star? for Amazon Prime Video and makes his acting debut in the TV series grotesque.

Kelce described the FX series as a “mystery horror” and was excited to “delve a little into the world of acting.”
