Did Chris Harrison just hint at who goes home next on The Bachelor?

*Warning: Spoilers follow*

We have already pointed out that the teaser for the next episode of The bachelor suggests a short-lived future for Peter Weber and Victoria F. Well, Chris Harrison recently spoke out about the couple’s relationship and quietly confirmed that it is coming to an end.

In an interview with We weeklythe 48-year-old Bachelor Nation host defended Weber’s decision to keep Victoria F. even after she demonstrated poor communication skills for the millionth time. (Not really, but you get what I mean.)

But the way Harrison describes the connection between Weber and Victoria F. suggests that our suspicions are correct: Victoria F.’s days are numbered.

“It’s one of those relationships, I see it a lot on the show, and you see it in life, where there’s passion and chemistry, but it’s all so fickle,” Harrison said.

“Volatile”? We know Harrison has called this season “dramatic,” but we highly doubt he would describe Weber’s endgame as “volatile.” We expect Victoria F. to go home in next week’s episode (or the week after that, if ABC leaves us with the dreaded “To be continued…”).

To top it all off, Harrison went on to say that Weber would come to his senses in due course, adding: “You have to get out of Peter’s way a little bit. You know, that’s the craziest thing. We all have – we all do that kind of thing.”

The presenter even admitted that he could relate to Weber’s turmoil. He continued: “I was in a relationship exactly like that too, and I stayed and went back and I stayed, went back and I made the same mistakes.” Mistakes? Yuck. Not exactly a recommendation for Victoria F.

Some would say this has been coming for a long time. The bachelor returns to ABC on Monday, February 24 at 8 p.m.
