This is how Taylor Swift reacted to a drunk fan who was partying wildly during the Eras tour

Entertainment gossip and news from the Newsweek staff network

A Taylor Swift fan recently earned the pop star’s nod of approval with his amusing antics – with a little liquid courage – during one of her Epoch Tour Concerts.

The fan, whose name is Elliott Norris, shared a video on Instagram on June 5 that captured his increasingly “tipsy” state during each phase of Swift’s performance, and the video quickly went viral. So viral that Swift herself left a comment on the reel.

Norris’ video begins with him cheering enthusiastically during the “Lover” section of the show. As the concert progresses, his enthusiasm turns to “Red”-era forgetfulness, where he struggles to remember the lyrics. As Swift, 34, moves on to the “Reputation” section, Norris attempts to enthusiastically twerk with a beer in hand, screaming along to the lyrics.

As the video progresses, Norris buys more drinks for the “Folklore” and “Evermore” portions of the concert, eventually dancing with empty cups during “1989.” At one point, he humorously notes, “My squint eye is coming out,” before ending with a soulful moment where he sings along to “Tortured Poets Department” and appears to cry, noting, “That shit was amazing!”

The 14-time Grammy winner stumbled upon the now-viral video and gave Norris her seal of approval. “This was a complete journey πŸ˜†,” she commented, which now has thousands of likes. Norris later highlighted Swift’s response on his Instagram story, humorously asking, “Drinks? @taylorswift,” adding, “I’m going to stay humble despite all this new fame.”

However, internet fame often brings with it negative comments, and Norris’ post was no exception. While some Swifties left nice comments like, “That’s everything” and “I really appreciate all of this,” others weren’t so kind. “You’re more into yourself than the actual concert lol,” one fan noted. Another, who claimed to have actually been next to Norris in the crowd, said, “Cute! In fact, my boyfriend and I were next to you the whole show 😍 I can’t say what was my biggest highlight, maybe all the times you pushed us because you needed space to dance? Or when you spilled your beer on my dress 😍😍.”

The sarcastic comment received several hundred likes, but there has been no response from Norris yet.
