Kevin and Franklin Jonas tease the ‘most famous’ celebrity relative in season 3 of ‘Claim to Fame’

Kevin and Franklin Jonas know a thing or two about what it means to be a celebrity—and the siblings of one—but in this season of Claim to famethe stakes are higher than ever.

The brothers, who host the ABC series, hinted in a recent interview on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy that the season three contestants – who are competing for a $100,000 prize – are a vast improvement over the previous two seasons.

Kevin, 36, admitted that it was really “difficult” this time around to figure out who a particular contestant is related to, while his younger brother said: “Once you find out who some of these people are, it’s so obvious and surprising.”

“I would say (we have) the biggest celebrity relatives – by far the most famous people we’ve ever had, I think,” Kevin revealed about Season 3.

When asked if this season’s contestants were better than some of last season’s biggest names – Tom Hanks’ niece and Dolly Parton’s niece – Kevin replied that Hanks, 67, and Parton, 78, are “legends, of course,” but that the relatives of this season’s contestants are “even more famous.”

However, he stressed that this time it was “hard to figure it out,” even with internet access. “It’s so difficult,” Franklin, 23, agreed.

Apart from Hank and Parton’s nieces, other former participants on Claim to fame Contestants included the sister of Keke Palmer, who won the first season, and the brother of Nick Cannon, who was crowned the winner of the second season after correctly guessing that his opponent’s father was JB Smoove.

Donny Osmond’s son Chris was also a contestant on season two, coming in third place. His father praised him for “making the show interesting” because his identity eluded his opponents.

“Of course I have several (reality shows) with The Masked Singer And Dancing with the starsbut this is something completely different,” Donny told PEOPLE. “So I told him, ‘Just be as smart as you can in a situation like this.’ And boy, was he smart.”

The 66-year-old singer joked that he could “only imagine how many mothers are screaming in front of the television because he went to such great lengths to keep (his identity) a secret.”
