Kathleen Fee is considered the dynamic frontwoman and driving force behind Irish New York band Celtic Cross. Her solo project is brought to life through collaborations with some of the industry’s most celebrated songwriters and embodies the universal aspiration of traveling down a path illuminated with golden possibilities. Covering a variety of themes, her EP sees all the songs intersect on the journey of self-discovery and the pursuit of authenticity.

Before you plunge into the unknown, Look Both Ways is about taking a moment at a fork in the road in your life, looking left and right, considering all directions, and daring to dream.

Kathleen shares her insights: “So many people suffer from mental health issues such as stress, depression, anxiety and insecurity about themselves. My title track ‘Glitter Gold’ is a deeply personal song about the journey of facing inner struggles and living up to societal expectations. So many of us struggle with our own aspirations, challenges and the societal pressures that come with them. We have the power of music to create more awareness and support for mental health issues.”

Drawing on her own experiences and those of others, Kathleen’s music conveys hope and perseverance. Each track on the EP reminds us that despite life’s difficulties, following our hearts can lead to deep personal fulfillment.

Kathleen splits her time between Montauk, New York City, and Nashville, immersing herself in the diverse and vibrant musical landscapes of both cities. This experience in both cities enriches her artistry and allows her to draw from a variety of musical influences. Her commitment to confidence and growth culminated in co-writing tracks such as “Glitter Gold,” “Lonely Now,” and “Somebody Else’s Heart.”

Kathleen says, “Believe in your dreams and take risks, because if you look both ways and trust your instincts, life’s path is paved with glittering gold. Every step you take with purpose and passion brings you closer to the brilliance that awaits those who follow their hearts. While the other songs on the EP explore different messages, they all boil down to the journey of self-discovery and the pursuit of one’s true passions.”

Kathleen’s career extends beyond music to include acting, modeling and promoting Irish step dancing on international stages. She continues to sing the National Anthem at NFL games, including recently at the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals game. Kathleen has also performed on notable platforms including Fox & Friends, The Theater at Madison Square Garden and PNC Bank Arts Center.
