Are Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger expecting baby number 3?

By Movieguide® Contributor

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are reportedly expecting baby number 3!

A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple is expecting a baby, but Pratt and Schwarzenegger have not yet commented publicly.

They are already parents of daughters Lyla (3) and Eloise (2) as well as Pratt’s son from a previous marriage, Jack (11).

It’s no surprise that the couple is ready to expand their family – both Pratt and Schwarzenegger have spoken about their desire for a large family.

“I come from a big family, so I like the idea of having a lot of kids around me and having a big family,” Schwarzenegger told Us Weekly. “Whatever God has in store for us, we’re going to do it.”

Pratt expressed his wife’s feelings in a 2021 interview with E! News, saying, “I would love to have more, as many as the man up there provides. We’re going to do it. I’ll probably have to talk to Katherine about it, but my plan is, let’s go.”

In another interview with his “Jurassic World” co-star Bryce Dallas Howard, Pratt joked that he would like to have “dozens” more children.

“I mean, Chris and I were just talking about this, he always wanted a big family,” Howard said. “And I come from a big family, so I think this is absolutely great. I think this is great for you.”

Movieguide® previously reported on the couple’s parenting style:

With the film THE TOMORROW WAR, actor Chris Pratt can expand his list of Hollywood blockbusters, but the ONWARD actor revealed to E! News that he is even more excited about having another child with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Pratt, 42, and Schwarzenegger had their first child, daughter Lyla Maria, last summer. The staunch Christian and conservative is ready to expand his family.

“I think having a second child really highlights what made the first child unique, because when you only have one child, you just take their growth and development for granted. You just assume that all children are like that,” Pratt said.

“The big common denominator is just this insatiable desire to be close to them, to be by their side, to protect them and to love them. That’s the best thing,” he added.
