Sad reason why Paris Hilton changes her voice out of the blue in a viral video

However, Hilton has made a comeback stronger than ever. After revealing the traumatic experiences she endured at a boarding school in 2022, the reality star became an advocate for all such “facilities for troubled youth.” When Hilton recently testified before the U.S. Congress, she became known for her “voice change,” which has a deeply disturbing reason.

Paris Hilton has often been hailed as the Nepo baby, as she is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels. Often ridiculed and criticized for her “typically blonde” habits, the reality TV star made a surprising revelation in 2022 that is surely the perfect example of why we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

In a documentary on her YouTube channel and in her memoirs Paris: The MemoirsHilton recounted how her parents sent her to a treatment facility that became her worst nightmare. She was subjected to absolute torture, including sexual abuse, and has since become an activist against all such reform schools.

Recently, the star made headlines for her sudden voice change during a speech to the U.S. Congress, which sounds nothing like Paris Hilton normally sounds. When she spoke about serious topics in her normal voice, fans couldn’t believe that “baby voice” Hilton would have such a professional voice (via Huffington Post).

Paris Hilton has previously revealed that the “baby voice” she uses is not her real voice but a character she developed early on, subtly hinting that everything she went through in her early career was more of a gimmick (via This Morning). When her real voice went viral on the internet, fans were still shocked and stunned.

Many of them considered her sudden voice change and fake voice to be a reaction to trauma. When the video went viral on the internet, fans had this to say.

You just saw what a dissociative voice change is. People who have suffered deep trauma develop this disorder as a way to cope with their environment. I also have dissociative identity disorder and my voice changes when I am relaxed as opposed to when I am more serious. I love Paris, she is so brave to speak about her experiences in Provo. -@lady_jane1986

She has often said that she only does the baby voice when she is nervous. It is like a comfort blanket for her, like a character, and she is trying not to use it anymore because it is also a response to trauma. – @lo_xo27

She’s spoken about it several times… She said she takes on this role when she’s nervous or in public – because she’s very shy and has been through a lot of trauma! -@edson_by_satellite

The voice change is a response to trauma. Watch her documentary and learn something. She is actually a genius, a fantastic businesswoman and an amazing human being. -@jenwilson225

As her voice change continues to go viral online, fans have spoken out in support of the star after she made shocking revelations about the abuse she suffered as a teenager. Not only is Hilton brave for opening up and sharing her experiences, but her dedication to the cause is equally commendable.
