Katherine Schwarzenegger is reportedly pregnant with her third baby.

The 34-year-old author and her husband, actor Chris Pratt, are expecting their third child together, a source said PeopleThe couple, who married in 2019, welcomed daughters Lyla in August 2020 and Eloise in May 2022. The Protector of the Galaxy star is also father of 11-year-old son Jack from his previous marriage to actress Anna Faris.

The Independent has reached out to representatives for the couple for comment.

At a recent appearance at Tonight Show with Jimmy FallonPratt opened up about what it’s like being a father to two little girls. “My daughter loves to play this game with me called ‘No!'” Pratt told host Fallon during the episode.

“I’m not very good at the game and she always wins because she says no. And I didn’t know you were allowed to tell your parents that. I grew up and I could never say no to my parents,” he continued.

The actor also brought a picture that Lyla had drawn, and Fallon held it up for the audience. He even boasted about how his three-year-old wrote her little sister’s name on the picture and spelled it correctly. “Eloise… I didn’t know how to spell it until I saw this photo,” Pratt joked. “I was like, ‘There’s no Y?’ That didn’t make sense.”

“Look at this. She spelled it and she is only three and a half years old,” said the Parks and Recreation said Alum as the camera zoomed in on the drawing where Eloise’s name was written in marker.

“That’s not so bad,” Fallon replied.

In another interview with E! NewsPratt admitted he has noticed a difference in raising girls compared to boys. “I hate to make generalizations based on gender, but in my experience, girls are more emotional,” Pratt said. “They have me wrapped around their finger. It’s wild.”

Although he notes that all of his children are “cuddly and affectionate,” his daughters “don’t like to romp around so much.”

“I hit them with a pillow and they say, ‘Daddy, that hurt my feelings,'” he said of fooling around with his daughters. “They’d rather hear stories than fight.”

Schwarzenegger, the eldest daughter of former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, has also spoken about parenting. While attending DSW’s “Best Foot Forward” panel luncheon in honor of Women’s History Month in March 2023, she talked about how she manages to juggle her roles as a children’s author and mother.

“I’m a big believer – I feel like we see all these moms on Instagram saying, ‘I do everything, I do everything, I do everything by myself,’ blah blah, and I say, ‘I don’t want to do everything by myself,'” Schwarzenegger said.

She continued, “I want to lean on my sister, I want to lean on my mom, I want to lean on my friends, my girlfriends. I want to be honest and transparent and also say, ‘I can’t make it today. My kid is sick. She was up all night teething. I need to be a mom now.'”

“I think you should be able to be open about the fact that you don’t have to do everything yourself, you can lean on others, you can get help from others and be OK with that,” Schwarzenegger said. “I think that’s a big struggle for women in general, but I think especially when you’re juggling multiple roles, it’s OK to say, ‘I need help today.'”

After eight years of marriage, Pratt and Faris announced their separation in August 2017 and finalized their divorce in October 2018—four months after he began dating Schwarzenegger. Pratt proposed to Schwarzenegger in January 2019, and they married in June of that year.
