When Bannon turned himself in on Monday, a small crowd of supporters and Greene gathered outside the prison.

“Thousands of people end up in prison, they sit in prison, they spend years in prison. Some of them did nothing wrong, they just went into the Capitol and left,” Green said in an interview with Real America’s Voice – a far-right podcast and television station – about those convicted of the January 6 crimes.

As she spoke, a protester behind her shouted and held up a sign that read “Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Body.”

Security quickly moved in and escorted the protester out from behind Greene to broadcast the live televised footage, but she could be heard screaming as Greene continued to speak.

“Steve Bannon needs to go to prison, Peter Navarro is in prison right now, and Jack Smith and many more people will be added to this two-tier justice system,” Greene said.

“I’m proud to go to prison,” Bannon said, adding that he “stood up to Garland’s corrupt Justice Department.”

As Bannon spoke, he hugged Greene, who smiled supportively at the soon-to-be prisoner.

“Unless we stop them, they won’t stop,” Bannon said. “You stop them by saying, ‘Hey, if you send me to jail, it doesn’t matter if we take this fight to the next level, OK?'”
