Louis Tomlinson shows off grey hair at Glastonbury Festival

Louis Tomlinson is officially a silver fox.

The 32-year-old singer embraced his grey hair at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England, over the last weekend of June. Tomlinson’s normally shaggy brunette hair had a few grey streaks peeking out, especially on the sides.

Tomlinson was at the festival with a group of friends and his sister Lottie Tomlinson. The “Silver Tongues” singer and his crew caused a stir by bringing a TV into the festival grounds to watch the English football club’s UEFA match, as there was nowhere else to watch it during the festival. Thanks to his brave decision, Tomlinson (and his grey hair) made it all over social media, the news (including the BBC!) and the headlines.

Tomlinson’s fans were quickly captivated by his silver fox status and praised him on all social media platforms.

One person took a video of Tomlinson from one of the newscasts, added little emojis to the grey hair and wrote: “I will protect Louis’ grey hair,” while another person added: “Louis’ grey hair being one of the most talked about threads on Twitter and locals writing entire paragraphs in his defense was not on my bingo card. At least everyone appreciates this silver fox dilf.”

Tomlinson, who rose to fame as part of One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, has slowly started to embrace his grey hair in recent years as he’s gotten older (and the quick-witted and cheeky artist would probably have a few words for us to point that out to him).

A few grey hairs have come through from time to time throughout his head, and fans have captured the evidence in numerous photos they’ve shared (with enthusiasm) on social media. While he hasn’t gone completely grey yet, he’s gone through brown and grey phases – even with his facial hair.

One thing is for sure, his fans are here for the grey hair. One fan put it quite simply (and also quoted one of Tomlinson’s own tattoos): “Let’s just say I’m a silver fox fan and will always be a silver fox fan. I love the grey hair. It is what it is!”
