Speaking to PEOPLE as part of her partnership with Blender Bites for the newly launched Superberry Sport 1-Step Smoothie, Hough says all aspects of her life these days are in line with her personality, lifestyle and values.

She was excited to partner with a woman-founded, health-focused company that is on a mission to make people’s busy lives easier, adding that the drinks are made with “natural, clean, organic ingredients.”

Hough is an investor in the brand and as the partnership grew, she asked the company to develop a blend focused on muscle recovery for athletes like herself.

The drink’s new Super Berry sports flavor is packed with protein and vitamins and is also free of dairy, gluten and nuts.

Hough tells PEOPLE that she’s “proud” of her body and focuses on keeping it in shape to support her mental health, but she’s not opposed to the aesthetics that come with a good workout.

“The result is that the body looks good too, so I’m happy with that,” she says, laughing. “I would say that nutrition and eating is probably the bigger focus for me now that I’m in my thirties.”
