Temuera Morrison, the star of “The Book of Boba Fett,” says he is still pushing Lucasfilm to make a second season

To date, there is no indication that Lucasfilm will The Book of Boba Fett for a second season. Given this background, it is becoming increasingly unlikely that the story of the legendary bounty hunter will be continued in its own series.

Actor Temuera Morrison has not shied away from criticising the way he was put on the back burner when The Mandalorian Season 3 rolled around and has even said Din Djarin will be the focus in The Book of Boba Fett played a role in “ruinous” the separation.

“I tried to push them in that direction too,” he said when asked about a possible return of the show. “It still needs a little pushing, but whatever…”

Morrison does not seem to be overly positive The Book of Boba Fett a second season and since Disney is trying to reduce streaming costs, there is a good chance that he will play a supporting role in The Mandalorian and Grogu Movie.

In some ways, it makes sense that the series remains a miniseries. After all, the mystery of how the bounty hunter survived the events of has finally been solved. Return of the Jedi and ultimately cemented his position as the new leader of Tatooine.

Although there was room for more stories, the response to the spin-off was rather muted and the way things developed was not exactly what many fans wanted to see from a character who was arguably at his best as a mysterious, tough bounty hunter.

However, we are curious to see what has become of Cobb Vanth and what Fett’s continued role as guardian of Tatooine means for the future of this corner of the galaxy far, far away.
