Goldie Hawn wants to make a film with her family before she gets “too old”

Goldie Hawn has one wish before her family gets “too old.”

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Let’s talk off camera with Kelly RipaThe Oscar-winning actress said she would like to make a movie with her family after host Kelly Ripa suggested she take part in a Thanksgiving dinner-themed reality show with her children. Hawn has been in a relationship with actor Kurt Russell since 1983 and they have four children together, three of whom are working as actors.

“I’d actually love to do a movie together before we all get, well, too old,” she said. “Wouldn’t that be it? It would be so funny and so crazy and oh my God.”

When asked why they hadn’t made one yet, Hawn replied, “It’s just about one author. … I have to get permission from my family first.”

Ripa then joked that she should just have a family celebration and later revealed that it was actually the first scene of her new film.

“Here’s how it works: You tell them you’re throwing a party for Kurt. What they don’t know is that it’s a party scene for the opening of the movie, so they all just show up and then after the first scene is shot, surprise, surprise,” Ripa explained. “You pitch the idea for the movie and you’ve already got the opening scene in the can. There’s nothing they can say against it. The introductory scene is shot.”

“Oh my God. But it’s really true. It’s a mess. It would be a mess,” Hawn said of the idea, but she also noted that they are already working on a possible project together.

“We could do something with Oliver that is a cartoon, so in other words, we would all be the voices of it,” said the Over board Star added: “That would be a lot of fun.”

Hawn has two children, Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, with her ex-husband Bill Hudson. Later, in 1986, she and Russell had their son, Wyatt Russell. Hawn is also stepmother to Russell’s eldest son, Boston, whom he has with his ex-wife Season Hubley.
