On Sunday (30 June) Party next door exclaimed Bryson Tiller, Jeremih and Chris Brown after his ex-girlfriend, actress Desma Triplett, appeared in the trio’s music video “Wait On It.”

In a now deleted tweet, the “Come and See Me” singer expressed his feelings about the situation: “I’m gonna make these n**gas cry… Bryson, Chris and Jeremiaheenjoy the nights of your life.” The Toronto artist also hit out at Triplett, suggesting that her involvement was financially motivated. “Making videos at 34 (years old) broke this bitch,” he posted.

Brown responded to PARTYNEXTDOOR’s outburst on Twitter. “Sometimes n**gas talk without thinking… and then y’all call my people and try to take that sh*t back. NOOOO N**GA go on your socials and apologize or keep the same energy when you see me,” he wrote.

PARTYNEXTDOOR clarified on Monday (July 1): “To be clear, I have nothing but love (and) respect for these guys… S**t happens.”

2024 has been quite a busy year for Brown. In April, he threw Quavo a “Freak”, which included lyrics like, “Okay, now when I fuck my old bitches, we ain’t equal / Slurp that 1942 ’cause I ain’t doin’ cuervo / Freak bitch, she like Casamigos, not the Migos.”

The Atlanta rapper responded with “Tender,” to which Brown fired back with “Weakest Link.” Quavo finally hit home with the Takeoff-assisted “Over H**s & B**ches (OHB)”, in which he mentioned the name of the singer’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran: “The little boy wanna die over some pussy? You still messed up with Karrueche?” From then on, the two’s feud seemed to die down, and no more diss tracks have been released since.

On the other hand, PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Sorry, I’m out Tour” began in June. He is scheduled to perform at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California on Monday night before making stops in Seattle, Denver, Dallas and Atlanta, among other places.
