WATCH HERE: Will Smith makes his stage debut at the BET Awards with a new gospel-inspired song

Will Smith makes a musical comebackafter performing at the 2024 BET Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night.

The actor and rapper made a stage debut with his new gospel-inspired song You can do itwith Fridayy and the Sunday Service Choir with a performance by Kirk Franklin.

Smith had previously made a surprise appearance at the Coachella Music Festival Earlier this year he performed with J Balvin for the song Men in Black.

At the beginning of the BET appearance, Smith said, “I don’t know who needs to hear this right now, but whatever is happening in your life, I’m here to tell you, you can do it.”

In the new song he raps:

“The darker the hell you must endure / The brighter the heaven you get to enjoy / The harder the fall, the higher you soar / God opens a window when the devil closes the door / Believe me, they tried to bleed Will Smith dry / In the rearview mirror, I see adversity was the gift / To raise me to higher gifts takes faith.”

In recent years, Smith has mainly released collaborations with other artists, such as the songs Light them with Sean Paul for the new Bad Boys Movie, will with Joyner Lucas, Very rich with Marc Anthony and Bad Bunny etc. Smith released his last album, Lost and foundin the year 2005.
