Taylor Swift sings “Clara Bow” for Stevie Nicks at Dublin Eras Tour Show

In “Clara Bow,” the 14-time Grammy winner calls the 76-year-old Nicks the It Girl of her time, just like Clara Bow in the 1920s: “You look like Stevie Nicks in 1975, the hair and the lips,” Swift sang at the Aviva Stadium. “The crowd goes wild on her fingertips, half moonlight, a total eclipse.”

Before When Swift performed the song, she teased the surprise performance.

“She is one of my heroes and also someone to whom I can reveal any secret that she would never tell anyone else,” Swift said“She really helped me through so much over the years. I’m talking about Stevie Nicks.”

Swift has compared “Clara Bow” with “The Lucky One” by Redand ended her surprise song set with midnight Track “You’re On Your Own, Kid,” which Nicks said helped her grieve after the death of Fleetwood Mac member Christine McVie in November 2022.

Remarkably, Nicks previously wrote a poem in August 2023 that made it to The “Tortured Poets” section The album’s written prologue proves that the connection between Swift and Nicks goes deeper than the mention of “Clara Bow.”
