The BTS singer, who recently returned after completing his military service, gave an update on his current activities. The oldest member of the world-famous boy band also interacted with his fans and answered their questions on the fan community Weverse.

The “Super Tuna” singer revealed what he’s been up to since his discharge from the military. On June 30, 2024, Jin posted on Weverse that he’s “recording and filming variety shows.” He also revealed that he’s working on his new plans that he made during his time in the military. The “Astronaut” singer said that he wants to show his fans his face much more often. Jin promised that the projects he’s working on will be released in a few months and asked fans to wait a little longer.

Jin also commented on some fan posts. When a fan asked if the idol will be making his acting debut, he replied, “I don’t plan on acting.” In a comment on another fan post that mentioned the countdown to J-Hope’s return, Jin talked about his bandmate J-Hope’s discharge from the military. The singer wrote, “J-Hope, there’s not much time left. Come out and work hard. I took a day off after being discharged from the military.”

Jin gives teaser for new album

Earlier this month, Jin responded to a fan’s post about Jimin’s new album “MUSE”: “Jimin, I’m next. I’ll sing too.” He then accepted his bandmate J-Hope’s suggestion to debut as a subunit once the rapper returns from the military.

BTS singer Jin recently returned from completing his military service. To mark the 11th anniversary of BTS’ debut, he held a personal fan event where he gave a thousand lucky fans a free hug. The singer also sang his hits and performed on Jungkook’s “Seven.”

Musically, Jin has been dropping hints about a new album for some time. “The Astronaut” was his last song released before he was drafted into the military. Coldplay co-wrote the song. If rumors are to be believed, another collaboration between Jin and Coldplay is on the horizon, as their upcoming album is titled “Moon Music” and Jin is affectionately known as “Moon” by his fans.
