Annual Feel the Love program awards residential HVAC equipment to community heroes
VERO BEACH – Celebrating 15 years of supporting deserving homeowners, the annual Lennox Feel The Love program continues its partnership with home dealers to donate and install HVAC equipment for community heroes.
Nominations are open until August 31st. Deserving individuals can nominate at www.FeelTheLove.com. The program is sponsored this year by the LII Lennox Foundation.
Smith Services and Lennox encourage individuals and local organizations to nominate deserving families, neighbors and community heroes in need of a safer, more comfortable home. Past nominees have included community leaders such as educators, first responders, health care professionals, volunteers, families struggling financially, elderly residents of outdated homes and individuals impacted by natural disasters.
“We’re not just an HVAC company, we’re part of this community,” said Frances Brown, president of Smith Services. “Air conditioning is a necessity in Florida and we’re excited to be part of this year’s Feel The Love program to help a member or family in our community feel comfortable in their home year-round.”
The new high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment donated through Feel The Love provides immediate comfort and has a long-term impact on the environment and energy costs, reducing recipients’ energy consumption by approximately 30 to 40 percent.
“I was unable to work for over two years after a fatal car accident. And in the midst of it all, we lost our son,” said Wayne and Janet, former Lennox’ Feel The Love recipients. “Not only were we provided with a heater, but we also had air conditioning! I cannot describe the feelings we had at the kind acts of this wonderful program and the people you work with.”
The Feel The Love program is supported by the partnership of the LII Lennox Foundation and the North American network of Lennox dealers. Since its launch in 2009, Feel The Love has installed over 2,300 heating and cooling systems for homeowners in need and donated over $12.6 million in materials.
Feel The Love participating dealers will install the devices free of charge, and each device donated by Lennox includes optional industry-leading labor coverage through Lennox’s Warranty Your Way offering.

Selected recipients will receive brand new heating or cooling units during this year’s Feel The Love installation week, October 5-12.
