Taylor Dena Pearson Kevin Wayne Reavis

Taylor Dena Pearson and Kevin Wayne Reavis were married on Saturday, June 22nd at 6 p.m. at St. Edward’s Catholic Church. The Reverend Patrick Friend, chaplain of the Catholic Boys’ High School, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Diana and Dr. Kenneth Edward Pearson of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Grace and the late JB Pearson of Hot Springs and the late Dena and Bob Johnson of Lafayette, Alabama.

The groom’s parents are the late Cynthia and Gary Reavis of Nederland, Texas. His grandparents are the late Yva and Ray McGlothen, also of Nederland, and the late Floriene and Clyde Reavis of Port Neches, Texas.

Music for the ceremony was provided by singer Suzanne Banister and a string quartet from the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Rollins Brown and Byers Brown served as program accompanists.

The bride was accompanied by her father and wore an off-the-shoulder A-line silk shantung gown with a chapel length train. Her double layered veil was cathedral length. She carried a bouquet of garden roses, ranunculus and magnolia leaves, with a magnolia blossom as the main flower.

Anna-Faith Pearson of Bentonville served as her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a green and white floral sleeveless A-line dress and carried a bouquet of garden roses, ranunculus and magnolia leaves.

Flower girls and ring bearers were Celia Reid Henderson, Theresa Holland Henderson and David Whitaker Henderson, all of New Orleans.

Best man was Zachary Pearson of Walla Walla, Washington, brother of the bride. Guests were served by Chase Fisher and Rex Hamel, both of Little Rock.

A reception was held at the Country Club of Little Rock. Guest tables with olive green tablecloths alternated between large and small garden arrangements of hydrangeas, lisianthus, magnolia leaves, garden roses and morning glory. The dance floor was dominated by arrangements of the same white flowers. The music was provided by The Party Jammers of Memphis.

The bride is a graduate of Louisiana State University and the William H. Bowen School of Law of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is general counsel of the Arkansas Division of Law Enforcement Standards and Training.

The groom graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and is a data ethics and privacy analyst at LiveRamp.

The couple will live in Maumelle after a honeymoon in Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
