Travis Kelce wears a nod to a fan-favorite song that was recently cut from Taylor Swift’s Eras tour setlist

Taylor Swift and her friend, Travis Kelcerecently took a few days off. And fans noticed that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end wore a reference to a fan-favorite song that was recently cut from her setlist on the Eras Tour.

Earlier this week, Swift and Kelce spent time together at Lake Como in Italy. A photo of the NFL player in a long-sleeved T-shirt with a Cupid graphic caught the attention of Swifties, with many of them interpreting it as an ode to the pop superstar’s song “The Archer.”

One X user (formerly of Twitter) explained: “HELLO the cupid/archer on his shirt.”

Another X-user wrote: “I guess Travis just isn’t ready to get over Tay leaving ‘The Archer’ off the setlist.”

Meanwhile, someone else shouted over X: “THERE’S A CUPID OUT ON TRAVIS’ SHIRT, STOP IT.”

In the original setlist for Swift’s Eras Tour, she played “The Archer” during her Lover era. The 34-year-old pop star recently cut many songs from the program when she resumed her tour in May to make room for The “Tortured Poets” section.

Interestingly, the pair has another connection that has to do with the song. After Swift began attending NFL games to watch her Chiefs boyfriend in the fall of 2023, Swifties noticed the tight end gesturing like he was using a bow and arrow before games, likely as a nod to Arrowhead Stadium. However, the action also mirrored what Swift did during her performance of “The Archer” in the tour’s original setlist.

Whether Kelce’s latest outfit choice had anything to do with “The Archer” or not, he certainly looked elegant – and was completely struck by Cupid’s arrow as he spent some quality time with Swift on Lake Como.
