Taylor Swift congratulates the couple who got engaged during her concert in Edinburgh

At Taylor Swift’s last concert in Scotland, love was in the air.

After singing “Cardigan” during the Edinburgh stop of her “Eras Tour,” the 34-year-old took a moment to enjoy seeing fans in the audience.

In a video of the concert posted on social media, she celebrated her performance in broad daylight and shouted out a commitment she could detect in the audience.

“I love doing this whole show in the sunlight because I’m pretty sure I just saw someone get engaged. Did that just happen?” she asked the crowd before seemingly receiving confirmation. “Yes!”

Swift said she rarely experiences such a moment live since her shows are usually held at night.

“Congratulations, wow. I just saw the whole thing,” Swift said onstage. “Man, this is incredible. Thank you for doing this at my concert. This is a big moment, huge.”

The “Anti-Hero” singer has been making personal connections with her fans throughout the European tour. In Lisbon, Portugal, Swift showed off her Portuguese on stage several times and even used the language at one point to help a fan.

In videos from the May 24 concert posted to X by The Hollywood Reporter, Swift smiled at the cheering crowd at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in a shimmering silver bodysuit.

“Muito obrigada,” which means “thank you very much,” Swift said to the audience, who cheered even louder.

After fanning herself, she added in English, “Oh, Lisbon, you’re making me feel incredible right now.”

In a follow-up video of Swift’s performance of “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” from her novel album “The Tortured Poets Department,” the singer alerted the concert’s security team to a distressed fan near the front of the stage.

“Ayuda por favor, forward,” Swift said, which translates to “Help, please, forward,” pointing to someone in the crowd. Swift also asked for help in Portuguese while playing the piano during another part of the show in a video posted by a concertgoer on X.

The singer kicked off the European leg of her record-breaking “Eras Tour” last month in Paris, France.

The Grammy winner gave four concerts in Paris, including her 87th concert since the start of the “Eras Tour” last year on May 12.

Swift’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, who wears number 87 for the Kansas City Chiefs, was in the crowd dancing alongside Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid.

That evening, Swift performed the song “So High School,” also from “TTPD,” which is rumored to be about her romance with Travis Kelce. Concertgoers shared videos of Swift blows a kiss to the crowd where Kelce was standing before you start with the melody.

Other social media videos shared by fans featured Travis Kelce pointing at Swift from his eyes while she sang, “Every time I look at you.”

The three-time Super Bowl winner later told his brother, former NFL star Jason Kelce, about his concert visit in the podcast “New Heights,” released on May 15.

Travis Kelce said he “had a blast at Tay’s show” and urged everyone to check out the “Eras Tour” in person. “I suggest everyone go and see it,” he said. “It’s absolutely incredible. I loved every second of it.”

The professional football star, who has flown to Argentina, Australia and other places around the world to see his girlfriend perform live, described the Paris concert he attended as the best of the many “Eras Tour” concerts he has seen so far.

“I don’t know if they’re just getting better or if I just keep forgetting what they’re like,” he said.
