Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor gives a famous mother’s advice on dealing with fame

Phoebe Dynevor from “Bridgerton” has passed on her famous mother’s advice on dealing with the spotlight.

The actress, who recently starred in the Netflix thriller “Fair Play” and previously appeared in “Waterloo Road,” is the daughter of Sally Dynevor, who has appeared in “Coronation Street” since 1986.

During a photo shoot with Elle, Phoebe shared some of the wisdom her mother gave her, explaining: “The best advice my mom gave her was to just enjoy everything.

“There was a certain point in ‘Bridgerton’ where I was overanalyzing everything and my mom told me to just accept it and not be afraid of it.

“I was surrounded by creativity from day one,” she added. “When I was younger we were often on set (on Corrie) and I got used to people from TV coming to our house. I was in awe of it all and loved seeing the family that people formed on set and how everyone worked in very different jobs to create something.”

Following her role in Fair Play, the actress was nominated for the BAFTA EE Rising Star Award and will not only follow her mother’s advice at the ceremony, but will also take her mother’s with her.

“I find awards ceremonies terrifying,” she admitted. “Imposter syndrome is a real thing! They’re really scary, but also very exciting because you’re in a room full of incredible people.”

“I’m already planning my outfit for the BAFTAs. I’m working with Louis Vuitton and I have two dresses to choose from. I’m taking my mum with me. I want to be there and soak it all up because this moment will never happen again.

“I’m the type of person who doesn’t believe he’s going to win. That’s why I probably won’t write a speech and then improvise.”

Bridgerton Seasons 1 and 2 are now available on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Season 3 will premiere in two parts on May 16 and June 13.

The EE British Academy Film Awards take place on Sunday 18 February and will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer.
