Little Simz will perform at Glastonbury in 2024

Coldplay will headline Glastonbury for the fifth time on Saturday night – a record after pop star Dua Lipa wowed the crowd on the Pyramid Stage on Friday (June 28).

Lipa, 28, impressed The Critics with a set consisting of some of their biggest hits, along with singles from their latest album, Radical optimism.

A diverse lineup will perform on the various stages of the sprawling festival throughout the weekend.

The highlights so far on Friday included a rousing performance by baroque pop newcomers The Last Dinner Party and a celebratory farewell to veteran Cyndi Lauper.

Meanwhile, the Sugababes attracted a huge crowd at West Holts on Friday, prompting security to close the stage to avoid overcrowding.

Here is the full lineup and set times for Glastonbury 2024.

If you’re following from home, the BBC has announced its broadcast schedule for the weekend.

Is Little Simz headlining Glastonbury 2025?

I mean, she could have headlined this year. A Mercury Prize, top 10 albums, Brit Awards… Little Simz is at her best and everyone knows it. Huge crowd for her on the Pyramid Stage and YES, I know everyone wants to see bloody Coldplay but PJ Harvey and LCD Soundsystem didn’t pull in as many people as Dua Lipa yesterday. She’s phenomenal, a bursting force of nature full of ambition. I adore her, can you tell?

Glastonbury viewers falsely accuse Dua Lipa of pantomime after BBC broadcast problem

Glastonbury 2024 viewers falsely accuse Dua Lipa of mimicking her headlining performance following a problem with the BBC broadcast.

When Dua Lipa sang songs like “Training Season,” “New Rules,” and “Levitating,” many viewers watching her from their couches at home accused the singer of imitating her singing—an accusation that was firmly denied.

“I could be wrong but it looks like Dua Lipa is pantomiming at #Glastonbury and this just sounds too perfect to be live,” complained one viewer on X/Twitter, with another adding: “Dua Lipa – either pantomiming or the sound mix is all wrong. It just sounds wrong.”
