Red Hot Chili Peppers rock Hampton Roads

Not even opening act Ice Cube could dampen the red-hot performance of rock legends Red Hot Chili Peppers on Friday night at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater.

The packed house at Veterans Home Loans Amphitheater was treated to the Unlimited Love Tour, complete with high-energy favorites and hits from lead singer Anthony Kiedis, guitarist John Frusciante, drummer Chad Smith and bass guitarist Flea.

One of hip hop’s biggest stars, Ice Cube, greeted the audience to open the show and performed some of his classic hits such as “It Was A Good Day,” “Check Yo’ Self,” “Friday,” and more.
