Midwxst prepares for its “BACK IN ACTION” series with the red-hot “GUN SMOKE”

Midwxst is BACK IN ACTION for the fourth time sometime this year. In case you don’t know, the Indiana rapper and singer has this long-running EP series dating back to 2021. Unfortunately, the last time fans got their hands on one of these tapes was in 2022 with 3.0. Moreover, there was even a point where midwxst wanted to end the series after three episodes. Fortunately, in February of this year, the 21-year-old genre chameleon decided to continue, according to genius. We are currently waiting for the exact release date. To tide people over, midwxst has a new single from it for us called “GUN SMOKE”.

There are three promo tracks from BACK IN ACTION 4.0. “FIRE” featuring fellow emo MC DC The Don was the opening track that dropped in early April. Then fans were treated to “E30,” a rage-esque song that midwxst tries out quite often. So “GUN SMOKE” brings our total to three and will hopefully be the last preview before the hoped-for July release. “GUN SMOKE” is another Turnt song that finds midwxst playing his heart out with ear-splitting bass. It’s the rapper at his most aggressive and it’s likely to be a hit for the project.
