Gallup Korea announces Korea’s most popular singers in 2024

The results of the annual Gallup Korea poll are in, revealing the country’s most popular singers for the year. Conducted from March 22 to April 5, 2024, the poll included responses from 1,777 people ages 13 and older across South Korea (excluding Jeju Island).

This year, Lim Young Woong emerged as the most popular singer with 10.3% of the votes. The top 10 also includes well-known names such as IU, BTS, Na Hoon ANewJeans, Jang Yoon Jung, Jin-sung, Young Tak, Song Ga-Inand BLACKPINK, which reflect a wide range of musical tastes among the Korean public.

According to the results, the most popular artists among Koreans were:

Lim Young Woong (10.3%)

IU (9.0%)

BTS (4.9%)

Na Hoon A (4.0%)

New jeans (3.5%)

Jang Yoon Jung (3.4%)

Jin-Sung (2.7%)

Young Tak, Song Ga In (both 2.4%)

BLACKPINK (2.2%)
