Kenwood Club Fireworks 2024 + other fireworks dates in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area

Only a few days left until the best fireworks display in the Washington, DC area, hosted by the Kenwood Golf and Country Club at 5601 River Road in Bethesda. The club and its grounds are private, so do not enter their property. The fireworks can also be viewed from nearby church and business parking lots, such as the Fourth Presbyterian Church, which has been the most popular viewing spot in years past since it’s right across the street. If you’re lucky enough to have a yard within sight of the club or an apartment or condo facing the club, this is also a chance to play Jay Gatsby and experience a spectacular fireworks display to cap off your Independence Day party.

This year’s Kenwood fireworks are planned for Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Expect the show to start at some point between 21:15 and 21:30. The fireworks will be very loud, so you should have hearing protection such as earplugs handy. If you are in the area and have a dog, make sure the animal is inside before the show begins. In case of inclement weather, Kenwood has scheduled a rain date for July 3, 2024.
