Death of Findlay Township infant under investigation

Police in Allegheny County are investigating the death of an infant.

Allegheny County Police said officers were notified around 9:45 a.m. of an unresponsive toddler at a home on Trotter Lane in Findlay Township.

First responders performed life-saving measures on the infant before transporting him to a hospital, where medical personnel pronounced the infant dead.

According to initial police findings, there is no evidence of a crime, but the investigation into the death is still ongoing.

The infant’s cause and manner of death are being determined by the Allegheny County Coroner’s Office.
