Goldie Hawn wants to make a film with her famous family
Goldie Hawn is looking for a project that revolves around her talented family.
“Actually, I would love it if we could make a film together before we all get too old,” said the Oscar winner in Wednesday’s episode of Let’s talk off camera with Kelly Ripa Podcast. “Wouldn’t it? It would be so funny and so crazy and oh my God.”
Hawn, 78, is the mother of actors Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson, whom she has with ex-husband Bill Hudson, and Wyatt Russell, her son with Kurt Russell, her partner since 1983. (Russell also has a son, Boston, from his marriage to actress Season Hubley, which lasted from 1979 to 1983.)

She shared her hope for some TV time with the family after Ripa suggested the group do a reality show about a Thanksgiving gathering.
Although it sounded like Hawn had thought of her own idea, she acknowledged that there were some obstacles, such as finding a writer and getting the approval of her family members.
However, she said another, larger project was in the works.
“We could do something with Oliver that’s an animated movie, so in other words, we’d all be the voices of it,” Hawn said. “That would be a lot of fun.”
Although Hawn and Russell reunited their families long ago, they never married. She was revealed in a July 2023 appearance on CNN’s Who is speaking to Chris Wallace? about why they had refused to walk down the aisle.
“Why should we get married? Isn’t that a better question?” answered Hawn, who was married to actor and director Gus Trikonis for seven years before marrying Hudson, a union that lasted six years.
She asked how many people end up going through an ugly divorce that costs a lot of money.
“I like the idea of being able to wake up in the morning and make decisions every day if I want to be here,” she said.
