Travis Kelce says he “loves cooking with” Taylor Swift and wants to keep her favorite dishes “personal”

But the Kansas City Chiefs star ended a press conference by revealing Swift’s best desserts

Travis Kelce remains silent about his time in the kitchen with Taylor Swift.

During a press conference on Tuesday, June 11, the Kansas City Chiefs player dodged a question about cooking with his girlfriend. “There’s a YouTube short film where you cook with your better half, and I just want to know what you like to cook together?” a reporter asked.

“That’s a good question,” Kelce said. “I respect that question, but I’m going to keep it to myself because I really enjoy cooking with her, so it’s something I prefer to keep private.”

He moved on to the next question, but made one final comment on the subject before leaving the room.

“Taylor makes great Pop-Tarts and cinnamon rolls,” the football player added with a cheeky smile.

A video of his responses was shared by a fan page, which called his final comments a “mic drop moment.”

In the comments, fans praised Kelce for his witty response, writing, “I find this very endearing” and “This is who Taylor deserves.”

Another fan asked Swift to release a cookbook so they could recreate her “delicious” recipes.

In April, Swift shared a video on YouTube of Kelce kissing her while she stirs a pot in the kitchen, along with other snaps from her life, including one of her spreading whipped cream on a batch of cinnamon rolls.

She captioned the video “For a Fortnight…” in reference to the single from her latest album. The “Tortured Poets” section.

Since Kelce and Swift made their romance public in October 2023, the singer has baked for some of Kelce’s teammates.

“She kind of stayed behind the scenes to fit in – she didn’t even know she was doing it, I think – she likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade Pop-Tarts,” Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid recalled during an interview at the NFL Scouting Combine in February.

Earlier this month, Travis spoke to ABC’s Good morning America about staying grounded despite his high-profile relationship and new career aspirations.

“When you have good family and good friends around you, that aspect of life is a lot easier,” Kelce said.

“I’ve always been a very grounded guy,” he added. “It might not come across that way when I’m playing football, but off the field I just want to be a real person. I try not to look too far into the future because you never know when opportunities will arise.”
