People are just realizing who Tom Holland’s father is and he is quite famous

Tom Hollandthe A-list actor of Spider-Man and this father, famous for his lip-syncing on Umbrella, has a much more famous father than most of us probably realize.

His father, Dominic Holland, is a comedy legend, radio presenter and writer who has worked with national stars such as Rob Brydon and Harry Hill.

Dominic is also the creator of the current Amazon comedy special “Dominic Holland: The Glory Year”.

“Just a regular, down-to-earth Hollywood dad, Dom’s son Tom (annoyingly) takes over all the high life for him as the newest Spider-Man,” the show’s synopsis reads, suggesting he’s very, very aware of his son’s rising fame.

That’s a bit mean

Well, he wrote a book called Eclipsed, in which he talks about how his son’s success ultimately overcame his own.

“How does a boy named Tom Holland, who has never had a speaking role in a school play, end up playing Marvel’s Peter Parker?” begins the book’s biography.

“The answer is a series of happy coincidences and fortunate events. A coincidence? Yes, but not entirely, because it required enormous commitment and hard work.”

“Written by a father who, as a professional comedian, was taking his own chance at show business fame and called Eclipsed when his carefully laid plans weren’t working out so well,” we’re told.

“I’m sorry I’m not Tom,” the comedian jokingly greeted a Telegraph writer before an interview, and later said: “There’s nothing to regret – I don’t spend my time wishing I was famous because that would be an ugly place to be. But I’m extraordinarily proud of what Tom has achieved.”

With Dominic currently on tour, a quick look at social media shows that more and more people are becoming aware of the Avengers star’s famous family member.

People had *thoughts* about the revelation

“Why did I only find out now who Tom Holland’s father is? I would never have guessed.” an X user said.

Another said “Did you know Tom Holland was a Nepo baby??”, but most people thought Tom was largely responsible for his own fame.

“If anything, then nepo everyone else in his family,” an X user joked with others suggest that his father’s impressive achievements still do not equate to the fame of a Hollywood insider.

“You’ve lost the plot if you put him next to Zoe (Kravitz, famous daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet) and John David (Washington, famous son of Denzel and Pauletta Washington),” but another X user said.
