Hitman: World of Assassination is no stranger to using real celebrities as targets for the hair-raising murder spree. Sean Bean, Gary Busey and even Gary Cole have virtually visited the murder playgrounds created by IO Interactive. Starting today, there will be another famous person going about their daily lives unaware that there is a bounty on their head, as Conor McGregor will be the game’s new elusive target.
Elusive Targets are timed missions where you only get one* attempt to kill the target. If you succeed, you’ll receive awards for a job well done, if you fail… well, there’s no second chance. Conor will be portraying a multi-millionaire MMA fighter (I know, that’s quite a stretch for him) called “The Disrupter”. The Disrupter is in Agent 47’s crosshairs because he’s started a feud with a tech CEO who fancies himself a fighter, so head to the venue where the two will be fighting and make sure your client wins the fight without a fight!
This mission will be available from June 27th to July 29th, and prospective players can attempt to defeat the Disruptor in the game’s free Starter Pack. Players who want to relive the mission and earn the rewards in the process can purchase The Disruptor Pack, which gives players permanent access to the mission in Arcade Mode, new Disruptor items for players to add to their loadout, and even his lavish fur coat!
I know I’ve been neglecting Hitman: World of Assassination and missing a lot of objectives, but with this new update, I think it’s time to get back into it!
Hitman: World of Assassination is now available on PC, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.
*You can technically restart the mission as long as you haven’t completed any of the mission objectives.
IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind the internationally acclaimed HITMAN series, today unveils a new Elusive Target featuring the likeness and voice of global superstar and MMA legend Conor McGregor. Conor McGregor appears in HITMAN World of Assassination as The Disruptor, a multi-millionaire MMA fighter of worldwide fame who started a feud with the CEO of a well-known technology company and made himself a target in the process. The Disruptor mission is available worldwide on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, Nintendo Switch™* and PC** and runs from today, Thursday, June 27th, to Monday, July 29th.

The Disruptor mission takes players back to the island of Sgàil during a meeting of the secret Ark Society, an organization made up of the richest and most powerful people in the world. The target is the multi-millionaire MMA fighter known as “The Disruptor,” who is scheduled to take part in a fight against Quantum Leap CEO and martial arts enthusiast Tim Quinn. Fearing that the whole affair could make a fool of Tim Quinn, Quantum Leap stakeholders have tasked Agent 47 with taking out the Disruptor in the best interests of the company before he strikes.The mission is free to play for newcomers to HITMAN in the Free Starter Pack and can be replayed as many times as you like throughout the duration of the mission. HITMAN World of Assassination players can access The Disruptor mission for free. The Disruptor DLC pack is also available starting today, June 27th, and among other things, gives Hitman World of Assassination players permanent access to the mission as part of the Elusive Target Arcade.

Season of the Disruptor – Live updates, free for HITMAN WOA players
In addition to the new objective “Disruptor Elusive”, HITMAN players will be able to unlock the new objective starting on April 27.th June. This new season will add four new challenges inspired by our community, as well as returning Elusive Targets and new rounds of Curated Contracts. The Dartmoor Garden Show event will return and be available via the free Starter Pack in July. Finally, a new Twitch Drop, the Purple Streak Suitcase, will be unlocked by watching one hour of HITMAN World of Assassination on Twitch between June 27 and June 7.th of July.
