Arizona Diamondbacks lose the series against the Minnesota Twins

After a series of defeats against the juggernaut Philadelphia PhilliesThe Diamondbacks returned home to Chase Field with a 38-40 lead and had the task of Minnesota Twins, who entered with a record of 43-35 and is in 2nd place in the AL Central.

The matinee decider of this series was not much better than the previous game, but what could be better than We started writing match summaries ourselves than to have a complete flop first? The 13-6 loss in the finale had many downsides, but none more notable than Jordan Montgomery’s 2.2 IP with 8 R (4 ER). Given that Monty had three efficient starts in a row that earned him the win, the team wondered what the biggest factor could have been in his disastrous 2nd inning.

After a short preview of the upcoming encounter with the Oakland Athletics, the boys talked about Zac Gallen’s possible but probable return to the mound this Saturday. They also talked briefly about Alek Thomas finally starting rehab again in Reno and Ketel Marte moving on and being announced as a finalist for the All-Star Game Starters.
