Taylor Swift makes the crowd go wild when the dancer chants three words and a vulgar statement into the audience

Taylor Swift caused a sensation at her first of three sold-out shows at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, particularly when one of her dancers shouted “Pog mo thoin” to the crowd during her hit “We Are Never Getting Back Together.”

On Friday, thousands of excited Swifties flocked to the sprawling outdoor arena; the 51,700-capacity stadium will host the Shake It Off star on her Eras Tour for the next three days. Fans from all over the world flocked to see Taylor perform on her multi-day tour.

Before the Blank Space singer began her three-hour set, the crowd was treated to a rousing opening performance by pop-punk legends Paramore, with lead singer Hayley Williams showing her respect for the local talent by wearing a Cranberries t-shirt.

Taylor’s tenth song of the night sparked an eruption of cheers from the crowd as dancer Kameron N. Saunders shouted “pog mo thoin,” which means “kiss my —–.”

This loud response came as Swift delved into the third track of her Red Era. The use of the Irish phrase had fans erupting with joy, with many predicting the star would use a few friendly Irish words of her own.

In the middle of one particular song, Taylor and her troupe of six backing dancers sparkled under the bright lights in dazzling red sequined costumes. During a break in the catchy tune, they lined up, giving lead dancer Kam a chance to shout the Irish phrase before diving back into the chorus to the delight of the teeming crowd.

Before her spectacular performance on Friday, Swift mentioned that she was already experiencing “Irish hospitality” and revealed that local heroes U2 had kindly sent her a bouquet of flowers.

Taylor shared a snap of the floral arrangement and letter on her Instagram story, expressing, “I’m already feeling the Irish hospitality. Thank you U2 for always being the classiest and coolest.”

At a recent performance at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, the star opened the show with a fluent Welsh phrase: “Croeso i’r daith Eras”, which translates to “Welcome to the Eras tour”, much to the delight of the excited crowd.
