Chris Arellano and band headline the summer concert at Pond

New Mexican musician Chris Arellano will headline the summer concert today at 6 p.m. The Los Alamos Community Winds will open for Arrellano. The Winds will also open at the Los Alamos 4th of July Spectacular at Overlook Park in White Rock next Thursday.

Chris Arellano’s deeply personal Americana combines the Norteno music of his childhood in northern New Mexico with influences from alternative country and blues to create a distinctive style he calls “Nuevo Americana.” His towering lyrics are interwoven with songs and stories, Spanish and English, and touch listeners with emotion and passion.

Come enjoy the food vendors, family atmosphere and incredible venue of the state’s best free summer concert series, the Los Alamos Summer Concert Series, produced by Sancre Productions and the Los Alamos County Community Services Department.
