Under the IIJA, California will receive an estimated $41.9 billion over five years. The IIJA provides significant funding to rebuild California’s transportation system, including support for improving roads, bridges, freight projects, public transit, infrastructure safety improvements, and increasing infrastructure resilience to the impacts of severe weather and climate change.
