After a break of almost 10 years, Eric Benét is back with his signature sound: “Something We Can Make Love To”, a sensual ballad with Tamar Braxton. The first single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming album Duets EP offers authentic R&B while her vocals create an ethereal ear candy. It was released on Benét’s label JBR Records and was written and produced by Laney Stewart and Tricky Stewart (Tyla, Beyoncé, Rihanna).

“I offer myself as a little inspiration for their situation,” the pop singer reveals in a chat with Rocki from ThisisRnB.com about the taboo connection. “Apparently this inspiration becomes reality at some point in the song.”

I don’t know if he knows what to do. When you finally decide to let go… he sings invitingly in his melodious tone. The singer of “Spend My Life With You”, known for his chart-topping duets, will soon release an EP And a full album of duets featuring an incredible cast of R&B queens.

Watch the full interview below where he reveals who is joining him at Duetswhy he and Tamar were constantly laughing while filming the music video for “Something We Can Make Love To,” the current R&B landscape, and more.
