Emma Roberts Not only does she star in a movie about space – she’s also a space nerd in real life!

The 33-year-old actress walked the red carpet at the premiere of Space Cadet on Thursday (June 27) at Metrograph in New York City.

Emma was accompanied by co-stars at the event Tom Hopper, Poppy Liu, Kuhoo Verma, Desi Poetry, Dave Foley, Yasha Jackson, Andreas Call, Josephine HuangAnd Troy Iwataas well as author and director Liz W. Garcia.

In a new interview Emma talked about her love of space.

“Yeah, I’m a space nerd. I love space. That was the first thing I said to Liz Garcia, our screenwriter. When I met her, I said I love space. And then I thought I sounded so stupid. Why did I say that? I love this movie. It’s a good feeling to see it come together. I read it on paper. I loved it and to see all the characters come to life,” she told ScreenRant.

Space Cadet will be released on Prime Video on July 4th.
