Taylor Swift is said to have DJed at a Paul McCartney party, according to Austin Butler

Austin Butler recently recalled a house party hosted by Paul McCartney where Taylor Swift performed as a DJ.

During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Butler recalled a “crazy” house party he attended that Kimmel also attended. He was impressed to see former Beatles McCartney and Ringo Starr in the same room, calling it “amazing” to see.

He then joked that Swift “used to DJ at some point,” which is a hilarious image.

“Now she DJs at parties,” he joked.

The real question is what Taylor Swift was playing as a DJ – maybe she was playing some of her records or some of Paul McCartney’s timeless Beatles classics.

Although Butler hung out with rock legends at the party, he is best known for playing one of them. In Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, Butler played the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. The performance earned him his first Oscar nomination, but he ultimately lost to Brendan Fraser (The Whale).

Austin Butler first rose to prominence for his role in Zoey 101. He also starred in The Carrie Diaries and The Shannara Chronicles. Before starring in Elvis, Butler had a small role in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Elvis helped Butler reach new heights in his career. He played Feyd-Rautha in Dune: Part Two and can be seen in The Bikeriders.

Paul McCartney, who just turned 82, is known for his legendary career with the Beatles and Wings. Although both bands broke up, McCartney has released countless studio albums and undertaken 17 concert tours as a solo artist.

He recently announced two new legs of his “Got Back” tour. The first will take him through South America, after which McCartney will visit Europe in December 2024.

His last studio album, McCartney III, was released in 2020. It completed a trilogy of three albums of the same name.

Taylor Swift is currently in the middle of the European leg of the “Eras” tour. The tour began in March 2023 with a show in Glendale, Arizona. After playing in North America over the summer, Swift visited Mexico, Argentina and Brazil at the end of the year.

In 2024, Swift played shows in Japan, Australia and Singapore earlier in the year. After a two-month break, Swift began the European leg of the “Eras” tour with shows in Nanterre, France. After a show in Cardiff, Wales, Swift’s first extended performance is at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

Swift will play three shows at Wembley before playing more shows in Europe. She will return to the venue in August for a five-date stay to conclude the current leg of the “Eras” tour. After that, Swift has nine dates in the US before wrapping up the tour with nine dates in Canada.

Additionally, Swift just released her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. She announced the album during her acceptance speech for the Best Pop Vocal Album award at the 2024 Grammys.

She has also re-recorded four of her previous albums released on Big Machine Records. Fearless was the first to be re-recorded, followed by Red, Speak Now and 1989. Reputation and her self-titled debut album are the last two remaining.
